I'm a person with a disability and an ambulatory wheelchair user. Long before becoming a homeowner in Central Florida, my family experienced homelessness while I was raising my children — an experience that shaped everything I believe about dignity, compassion, and second chances.
Today my husband and I have been married more than 20 years, raised four amazing adult children, and are now blessed with three grandchildren — plus four Dachshunds who remind us daily that compassion extends to every member of the family, two-legged and four-legged.
Real leadership isn't about titles. It's about serving with integrity, listening with compassion, and creating opportunity where hope once seemed impossible. Whether it's a scholarship for a child, a mobility aid that restores independence, keeping a family in their home, or lifesaving care for an animal — every contribution has the power to change a life.
